Wffls is a music producer, drummer & DJ based in Seattle, WA by way of Cary, North Carolina. Known for his jazzy, soulful, and cinematic sound, Wffls makes hip-hop inspired by the paradoxically sublime melancholia of life as a millennial American. Wffls's music feels simultaneously contemporary and classic, tragic & euphoric, polished & raw. In addition to his instrumental albums, Wffls has produced songs for revered Seattle & Tacoma artists such as: Blake Anthony, DoNormaal, Perry Porter, AJ Suede and Yodi Mac. Wffls was also consecutively nominated as one of Respect My Region's Favorite DJs & Favorite Producers of 2018 & 2019 in their Northwest Hip-Hop Awards, and has been featured multiple times on Apple Music's Official BEATstrumentals playlist.
