A fresh take on house music bringing in analogue tendencies, the latest release from Bankii and Sarah Otto is a tempting call to escape reality, jumping into a hazy soothing parallel world.
Constructed with the help of neat percussion and atmospheric layers of synths and vocals, the track is a touching and enchanting electronica cut. "Rain" is dedicated to the desire to press 'rewind' on a relationship that started well but didn't work out. It's a wistful wishing for the memories of good times to fade away.
The Australian artists seem to work really well together and this is their second collab after the beautiful "Touch". I can only hope there are more to follow because the combination of Bankii's delicate production and Sarah's angelic vocals is simply brilliant!
