Lately I got a bit tired of the electronic music I was used to listen for the past months. Therefore when this little alternative / west-coast-inspired song ended up in my mailbox, I was quite interested in featuring it.
"No Mind No Money" opens on some bluesy guitars that evokes wide American plains and endless roads. However, Beach Babe hails from London, England; and if you listen to it closely you can indeed spot some typically British new wave influences. "No Mind No Money" is a song fit for sunny days spent driving down a national route.
Maybe were you lucky enough to catch the four-piece at Great Escape in Brighton on last Friday. If you haven't, the band has announced an headlining date at Boston Music Rooms, London on October 8th.
