"Before You Stop By" is not only my favorite release from Nevada-based label High Vibe Records, but damn this is probably one of the most impressive tracks I've come across this week.
The wide range of colorful synths Blackboxx has chosen welcomes listeners to a dreamy house aesthetic adorned with percussive textures to keep the rhythm section not only vibrant, but also littered with pleasant surprises. And just when you think the track can't get any better, meticulously chopped vocals slip into the mix for a soulful and catchy feeling. Everything just works so well together and I'm fans of Bonobo and Tycho will easily fall in love with this.
