One of the best things about folk music is the lyrics. And one of the best things about a great folk track is the great lyrics. Cancer's "Same Color As Digital Photography" is one of the latter: a great folk track with dreamy vocals that sing lyrics which come off less as words and more as poetry.
The duo consists of Danish men Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild and Kristian Finne Kristensen, who combine their individual talents of singing, songwriting, and production to craft very ethereal and otherworldly songs. "Same Color" is the debut single from the group, and it has set up some pretty high standards for anything to come next.
