Norway-based Candura infuses Brazilian sounds like Tropicália and bossa nova with the charm of disco and indie pop to create a sound like no other. What I loved about "Você" is the fact that it is not only musically opulent, but it's also fun and lighthearted when it comes to its production. The vocals are ripe with passion, continuously fluctuating between soft and fierce throughout her performance while her harmonies make us feel like we're floating on a cloud. This is only Candura's second release, and I'm so stoked to see which direction they'll head in next.
