fanclubwallet come back with the Halloween special, “Creep-O”. It’s a song about, well, strange people. You know the kind - the guy who might not have done anything wrong, but his posture, the way he carries himself, and overall vibe just feels both sinister and off.
fanclubwallet is the DIY bedroom pop project of Montreal-based Hannah Judge. As an artist myself, I highly appreciate the fact that she takes the DIY approach to its fullest. The Canadian multi-instrumentalist is also a photographer, illustrator, and visual artist who is responsible for the whole artist persona surrounding fanclubwallet.
What really got me into "Creep-O" was the fact that while it carried this simple structure, its dynamic bassline, drum rhythm, and accents with guitar and synths make you stay until the end in order to explore more of the uneasy feeling.
