Mixed Signals

Nothing screams road trip with the windows wide open than bedroom pop and indie-pop motifs... paired with somehow sinister-ish lyrics.

Listening to CARR's "Mixed Signals" sends me back to those careless teenage years where laying on the bedroom floor for hours and listening to music was the way to cope with things. Well, that hasn't really changed, now that I think about it.

The LA-based singer and songwriter reminds me of the now non-existing Snakadaktal, but with a splash of Day Wave. Good stuff!
