It's been a week full of suspense, ever since Alaysia Sierra teased us about an upcoming R&B Rising Single in the works.

While I can say I guessed the 2, I sure am glad to see DESTIN CONRAD and Musiq Soulchild (who needs no introduction) joining forces together for the creation of the lush delight that "To This Day" is.

Their joint track will instantly ooze you with a set of inviting and seducing vocals, perfectly intertwined throughout the composition. I really appreciate how smoothly the whole thing flows. An exquisite pairing forged in celestial realms, this track shines brilliantly, flawlessly merging the essence of r&b's multi-generational inspirations.

Also, as a drummer, I have to give credit to that kick and how it sounds. Pure love.

We've been keeping a close eye on DESTIN CONRAD ever since his collab with Amaria "All For You". He was also featured on our 20 Emerging R&B Artists You Need to Watch in 2023 list. What joy to see how the recognition he's been getting and mad props to Alaysia for pushing the boundaries of the genre and being at the forefront of the latest Renaissance of the genre and the constant push to support upcoming talented artists (if I am not mistaken they were one of the driving/key forces behind FLO's first tour in the US amongst quite a few initiatives in recent years).
