Time and time again I end up being mesmerized by edapollo's organic and nature-driven sound. I must have mentioned this quite a few times, but Ed and I met in a bar in Bali, so every time I write about his music it feels very, very personal.

When I first heard "By the River", I wasn't sure if it made me feel sad or happy, and after reading about the driving force behind this composition, I realized why. Edapollo shares...

My Grandma sadly passed away recently. She was a huge inspiration and role model to me.

When I was making this track I was remembering past times visiting her, in her house down by the river. So, it captures and conveys a mix of emotions for me personally, both somber and uplifting, with feeling sad that she's gone but also reflecting on what an amazing life she had.
