"Sonar" has quite an unorthodox charm to it... This is a sound I'm not acquainted with on a regular basis so in many ways, it felt like a breath of fresh air.
Honestly the track starts off in a questionable manner particularly because of the off-kilter and wonky presence of the bass. However when the drum grooves are fleshed out and the shimmering guitar arrives in the mix, the track erupts into life and when all the pieces are joined together we're met with not only a vibrant, but unique listening experience. If you're a fan of Khruangbin, this is bound to catch your attention.
