"Blast" sounds like a tempest on the Atlantic coast. It starts shyly as the pouring rain and gains in amplitude before it properly injects its blast of wind.

As I listen to it, I picture a lighthouse lost in the Ocean, away from the islands' coasts and on which waves crash at his feet. - Shhh, listen... you can even hear a distant boat siren.

But after each tempest comes its silver lining. And the song grows more shining, with backing vocals joining Faroe's voice and light guitar chords contrasting with the first part of the song.

Faroe - as you may not have guessed - hails from Normandy, France. It is the solo project of Corentin Ollivier, who takes part in SAmBA De La mUERTE and Concrete Knives. "Blast" is his first track and announces his debut EP "Words" to be released this fall. In case you're in Paris this Summer, he will do his first gig on July 3rd at l'International.

The song is all about finding our path - and it seems that Faroe has find his own vocation.
