SWIM

I've been sitting on this track for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes you just get a feeling from a band, sometimes you don't. Such is life. But Brightonians Fickle Friends give me all them feels.

In the gloom of January, in the height of mother nature's cruel trickery to envelope us all in shitty rain, shitty wind and even shittier "sun", this track makes it feel like Summer is just around the corner. "SWIM" has been picking up some serious plays, hitting the 100k mark on soundcloud not long ago, as well as garnering a hive of interest across the blogosphere. And for good reason, it's pop brilliance at its best. Lead singer Natassja's voice locks perfectly with the crackling guitar riffs giving insta-vibes of Bombay Bicycle Club and Two Door Cinema Club.

Any people in and around Brighton need to get themselves down to Green Door Store for the SWIM single release show on the 30th and of course dance off those winter blues.
