Foxes in Fiction is Warren Hildebrand. A solo-recording project that combines pop and ambient music. It is all made by looping and warping tapes, an experimental way of writing songs that he describes as :

an effort to create a  listening experience that provided people with a deeply comforting and psychological healing effect, like that that I experienced from certain music during my times of suffering.”

You can appreciate all that in his new single “Ontario Gothic”, a beautiful sad song made by cutting, copying and pasting some Foxes in Fiction old tunes. The keyboard riff is just great; naif and dark at the same time. Plus, Warren’s delicate voice fits perfectly with the melancholic aura of the song.

"Ontario Gothic" is the second single of his upcoming album with the same name to be out in September 23.
