With a smooth voice and lyrics that'll pull at your heart strings, Giriboy's take on the song "Take Care Of You" (originally released by Swings), from his album 성인식 Sexual Perceptions , is definitely one of those songs that should be added to your "Rainy Day" playlist.

"I'll take care of you when there is no one, I'll be with you when there is no one"

The original track, titled "Take Care Of Me" by Swings featuring Brother Su, talks about loving someone and wanting to be there to protect them. Giriboy's version of the song isn't too far off from the original, though his tells a more personal tale, about the ups and downs of being in a relationship with a sex worker, and how he deals with the situations that he's presented with.

The song is in Korean, but without translating the lyrics you can already tell that the song is a sad one; conveying its message through a mellow hip-hop beat intertwined with the way Giriboy raps and sings. It shows the rapper's vulnerable side (compared to his more upbeat tracks), giving the song an all around dark/angst vibe. It's one of those songs where the melody reminds you of a cozy day in, drinking hot chocolate while it rains, while the lyrics leave you with that feeling that you have after you've finished the hot chocolate: sad but pretty satisfied.
