One of the best parts of moving to another city/country is the immediate research of the local music scene. Now that I have settled I have done mine and found quite a lot of interesting bands and I can't wait to share.
Water Graves is an ambient pop duo hailing from Perth. They supported XXYYXX (yay!) and are supporting Baths in a few weeks, which is really exciting. Their music is dreamy and velvety, combined with indistinctive vocals and gentle synths.
Since I still have no idea how to properly write about electronic music, do yourself a favor and just listen to the remix by Water Graves below. Giselle's voice is something divine and with this ambient production the track is just too good.
