What a day! First GRiZ now this.
Just before embarking on his first European headline tour, GoldLink surprised us with a little gift.
The DC rapper teamed up with April George of the duo April + VISTA and The Internet's keyboardist Jameel Bruner (AKA KiNTaRO) to create the grooviest flow ever. Kicking off with a distorted lo-fi harmony, "Rough Soul" feels like a soulful music trip through the last few decades.
GoldLink's flow falls perfectly next to April's beautiful vocals and all that layed on top of this beautiful production work makes up for the next full-on-repeat song in my playlist.
