London's vibrant soul/jazz scene gave birth to another act that instantly got bumped to the top of our watch list. Meet GOMME - a trio that blends house, soul, and jazz music. Also, they seem to value their word and promise. In case you wonder how I can make such a claim about people I've never met before, well...

"We came together to write for the 1st time and made a pact to not write a heartbreak song... and 3 hours later we had Debut...our hook up track," and a few chords in "Debut" you'll know they kept that promise.

While that's their debut (pun intended), Andrew, Ellen, and Cameron are far from newcomers. They've previously lit up legendary stages like Glastonbury and The Jazz Cafe, and supported Jamie Woon. I love the subtle groove on the track and how easily they weave organic house with classic jazz elements, especially the piano solo towards the end.
