Near

 "Near" is the second track from the Bulgarian drone duo Leaver's debut album Head Home. It reveals the essence of the project by gently merging drifting lo-fi ambiance with subtle keys and guitar work, over which are placed introvert, whispering vocals. "Near" is about all souls, who have departed from our physical realms but are still with us in one way or another.

 Leaver is formed by Angel Simitchiev (Mytrip, Dayin) and Daniel Donchov (Expectations). The project is placed somewhere between deep minimalist ambient and the intimacy of guitar based singer-songwriter music. Leaver has spent the past three years playing carefully selected gigs and live collaborations. These might finish in a single breath or stretch longer in time, they might be quiet or loud but it’s always as if the captured music is dripping through the broken windows of lonely, long forgotten homes. In Spring 2016, Leaver will be touring England alongside nomadic musician Tim Holehouse and his new project Ræppen to present their debut full-length.
