Something that immediately caught my attention about Rosaline is the space we’re welcomed too as soon as we take a trip into the world of Lonely Benson + Low Talker.

I emphasize the word ‘space’ as the lavish pads that are used on here have an elevating feel to them which inspires a sense of weightlessness. When it comes to the production, the meticulousness spread all throughout the stereo field can not escape mention. The latent impact of the percussion and animated synths traveling from the left to right may be gripped by a low velocity… But if we we’re deprived of those elements, our entire listening experience would be a subject of change.

Talking about change, Rosaline is ultimately inspired by a step into the next level of adulthood and responsibilities. It is about stepping into the realm of parenthood. Lonely Benson had the privilege of becoming a father and on Rosaline he’s words are imbued with love as he shares the motions of raising a child.
