Reminiscent in parts of James Blake with hints of Radiohead, London-based five-piece Lunacre combine subtle electronics with haunting alternative rock.

The track shines with its simmering guitar work, soft drums and arresting vocals that weave across the wistful soundscape.

Talking to PressPLAY OK the band had this to say about the track:

The guitar and vocal parts came together during a hiatus from rehearsals while drummer JP was away. Not wanting to stall, we decided to create a Frankenstein’s monster of a percussion part by chopping up drum takes from other songs before playing along on pots and pans.

Listen to Schtum, the title track from their upcoming EP out on the 14th of October.
