London future soul artist MADELEINE returns with another taste of her intergalactic, dystopian sound world, sharing her new single "Don't Lose Yourself", centring on a message of hope, self-belief, and communal sensitivity.

Recorded as an instrumental before the lyrics were written, the intuitive relationship between MADELEINE's trusted trio unit shines through, with Jack Robson's frenetic drums combining beautifully with her ethereal synth tones and John Jones driving basslines.

I loved the interplay between grooves and rhythms here. On top of that, MADELEINE’s synths feel completely otherworldly - her futuristic edge comes through so clearly in both her playing and production. The build of tension and the chemistry between the musicians make for such an incandescent performance.

MADELEINE has also just announced her forthcoming EP titled Earth Cry - a six-track project exploring vulnerability, hope, and a plea for our planet. It will drop on June 17th, and I already can't wait.

I really hope I catch her live soon - I can fully imagine the energy this track’s going to unleash. Until then, I think I'm keeping "Don't Lose Yourself" on repeat.
