Our Man In Berlin is a five-piece band hailing all the way from Perth and they are right about to release their EP "Is It Right?" but BAM it's running a bit late. To make up for being late the guys uploaded one of the tracks off this EP "Lonely Arms".
This is the first time I hear their music and I think this is a good way to get acquainted: the track is very atmospheric and somewhat gloomy, radiating a really chill vibe. And I am definitely fond of the vocals ranging from falsetto to normal sounding voice (have no idea how to put it in the proper music terms?!?).
It is a very polished trippy blend of rock and electro music and I can't help but notice a few influences like Bon Iver, Atoms For Peace and Massive Attack, but all these guys are definitely very good influences. Can't wait to hear their EP!
