It was late July and the summer was ripe. The sun was about to set, burning scarlet in the horizon, touching the sky in warm and colorful nuances. Up there, there was a palette of every possible color mixed, spilled as far as your eyes could see. And down, down on earth it was me. Bare-feet, I was running in the endless fields of gold, wearing nothing but shorts. Every blade of grass welcomed me, caressing my naked body, leaving gentle silky marks. I was finally home and I was never to leave again.
