Melatone's latest release with Soul Food Horns, "Nothing but Net" delivers the kind of jazzhop that is tastefully infused with a soulful, vintage aesthetic.
The name Melatone feels fitting for an artist whose beats are defined by such a dreamy, immersive aesthetic. We're welcome to this and more on "Nothing but Net" as the presence of comforting guitars offer warmth across the mix. Uplifting brass arrangements gently sing over the slick, bouncy rhythm section to usher in an incredibly soulful touch over the experience. The track sits somewhere between playful and groovy, seamlessly inviting listeners to get lost in its feel-good melodies.
