Since it's the eve to the weekend, I thought why not give us all a bit of a perk-me-up with a banger from one of my all-time favourite producers.

Hailing from the UK is Mat Beard who performs under the moniker mtbrd. Over the last couple of years he's established himself for putting out some utterly addictive soul infused hip-hop beats, and I'm hoping for more years to come. And since Summer is around the corner, I don't think there's any other way than to describe "Wanna Be Your Lover" as being the perfect companion to your lazy sun-kissed days. So add it to your playlist, put it on repeat and go pop a cold one with the boys.
