The Japanese trumpeter/multi-instrumentalist Nahokimama is back with the second single from her Kyōdō, Pt. 2 EP. Meaning "together," Kyōdō is a series of projects where she collaborates with different artists from across the globe.
For "Gold 200", she's joined by the incredible UK multi-instrumentalist & producer Mondo Loops (you might remember his Late Night Tapes EP we released a few years ago). Together, they crafted one of the gentlest yet intricate jazzhop pieces out there, with warm but playful keys, soft Flugelhorn (thanks to Joep van Rhijn) and trumpets, and subtle basslines, all floating on a chill drum groove.
Right on time for autumn. Stream/buy "Gold 200" and pre-save the full Kyōdō, Pt. 2 EP here.
