Houses

Something that I found very fascinating about "Houses" is the nature of the progression, particularly when we look at the arrival of the chorus.

The track starts off in a manner that contains the feel of many folk tracks by virtue of Nick's vocal delivery and the soothing guitar strums. Although what sets this lovely gem apart is the usage of warm and comforting synths and very immersive songwriting. There are also certain phrases here that keep the listener hanging on tightly to every word that Nick utters, such as "This feels like home".
