This one feels special.Special because I could not track the person behind it which leaves plenty for the mind to wonder who Nigel Wolf is. It makes the whole experience of listening to the song even better as I can speculate that someone somewhere had a splendid evening, who together with his old friends ended up recording a great song.
Nigel's voice is hoarse and a bit grainy, a voice one could naturally has or achieve through heavily drinking and smoking for many years. For his sake and my own hope of listening to more of his future songs I sincerely wish it's not the latter.
It would be funny and a bit embarrassing for me to find out later that this is a cover of a famous song. It would be anything but surprising. As I have written before my musical filter is a strong one and randomly perceptive.
