The impressive artistry between DESH and delaney. collide once again through their Night Shift moniker, and this time they acquaint us with a colorful, tranquil listening experience on "Nostalgia".
What began as a much-needed winter escape to Barcelona quickly turned into a 'beat-cation' for the Dutch musicians, as they found themselves crafting new tunes throughout their travels. "Nostalgia" was one of the beautiful tracks the pair brought to life, and to no surprise, it's drenched in a warm, summery vibe from start to finish. The melodic portion is characterized by dreamy rhodes keys and a glossy synth solo, while the rhythm section welcomes us to a bounce that's utterly irresistible. "Our music has been evolving over the years and currently we’ve been working a lot more with chopping up samples and layering/recreating them with our own flavour. It’s been a lot of fun and we enjoy watching our own unique sound unfold".
