One of the stellar hip-hop albums the Stereofox team has really been enjoying lately is Oddisee's latest collaborative project with Heno. From Takoma With Love.

This is a body of work characterized by soulful instrumentals, raw and gritty textures, and of course, lyricism that is packed with food for thought. The deep cut that grabbed my attention on this project is "Woe is Me" - a track that stands out for its songwriting and impressive flows. Oddisee and Heno. trade verses on the struggles that not only shaped their character, but also some of the lessons they learned along the way. It's deeply personal, and it's beautiful that they're able to be vulnerable while they're holding a delivery that feels confident and passionate.
