I recently discovered Danish lyricist Oli Boserup via /r/hiphopheads on Reddit. "In My Head" has distinctively designed lyrical rhythms of ear-catching, introspective themes. This content complemented by a melancholic beat always gets me.
Following the passing of young hip hop artist Mac Miller, an almost artfully-arranged end to his career leaves people devastated reflecting on what issues he was holding. I hope the flowers that grow from Mac's legacy will bring more lyrical content on the human experience commenting on what we're holding in.
