Hailing from Lu's motherland, South Africa, Orecchiette (real name Pascal Righini) is the kind of beatmaker whose art feels like a spacious drift session. Carefree, subtle, and with the right amount of splash of hazy romance.
The first thing that got my attention when I stumbled upon the track was its name. "Kiss & Go" borrows its name from those fleeting drop-off lanes outside French airports. Needless to say, places (over)charged with emotion. Some good, some bad. It is that short speck of time where you part ways, and happiness is quickly transformed into nostalgia.
I think Orecchiette beautifully captured the vibe of this energy, and honestly - it's not easy for me to say, but this is one of my favourite beats I've heard in a while.
