PIANIKA’s "Seven Sisters" is a staple in my morning meditation sessions. Just when I thought the original was relaxing, she's just released an even more peaceful rendition of the track.
This is part of her latest project, Lune (Ambient Reworks) - a body of work that transforms her Lune EP with Stereofox into an ambient escape. The pianos on the new version of "Seven Sisters" hit different - they're a lot more gentle to the ears, and the slower pace of the progression has a grounding effect to it. Decorated in the backdrop are these dreamy pads that possess a soft shimmer, creating a sense of space and warm comfort. This is just the opening track, if you're looking for an incredibly tranquil listening experience, I'd highly suggest diving into the entire experience.
