POSY (real name) Rudy Klobas, is a multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Portland. His unique sound blends jazz, R&B, and electronic music.
Having originally learned to play classical guitar, POSY taught himself piano, bass, and drums, and began composing and recording songs on a four-track cassette recorder. He is basically a human orchestra.
Rudy's music is complex and richly textured, yet retains a sense of simplicity that evokes feelings of relaxation, nostalgia, and hope. All of that can be picked in his brand new EP I Know A Place which dropped today.
For my highlight, I chose his feature with another familiar face - Seb Zillner titled "Message to Jun". Without having confirmation from the artists, I still think that Jun is Jun Seba AKA Nujabes (RIP).
