MAKAW does it again. I mentioned that she was definitely the one to watch and that she set the bar really high for herself. Now that we are premiering her second single "Here I Am", I am happy to confirm that she made it above and beyond that said bar.
Her vocals seemed really delicate in the first track she released, but MAKAW showcases all the vocal power she has and as I am a sucker for all things vocals this amazes me the most. The track is lush and gloomy, so she follows the same slightly melancholic vibe.
The production plays around the vocals and the howling bits with trappy electronic elements are just out of this world. It feels like in a couple of months between the releases MAKAW's sound has matured so much. I am extremely curios what else she has up her sleeve.
