What I love about "PHOENIX" is the fact that it carries a journey-like appeal whilst preserving a dance-friendly characteristic to it - making it quite easy to become lost in it's charm.
The synths are pleasantly warm and thus comforting the listener, and the drums are simultaneously hard-hitting and groovy enough to keep you moving throughout. "You're so easy to love" is a phrase that repeats, and that also gives the track a romantic undertone next to the latent synthwave aura carried by the sound selection.
"Phoenix" stands a deep house track, with funk bassline elements, disco-style drums, and ethereal VOX samples.
