Nashville-based quartet PUSHBACK is taking the Internet by storm.
Known for their energy-charged live performances, the balaclava-masked jazz-meets-experimental band released their second single, "Triple Seven", and this has been my reason to love music this week.
Added at #1 on our Nu Jazz playlist, this 5:24 composition opens with a beautifully soaring motif that gradually blossoms into a crisp, lush, and dynamically rich jazz soundscape.
