I was actually sort of amazed when I realized that no one on Stereofox has featured Rae Morris up until now. She seems to be picking up fast in the music scene: I have found features in The Guardian and Time, a bunch of releases and ton of media presence.
Her label has been great to her and gave her almost three years to record her debut album Unguarded and develop her sound fully during that time. Her first release dates back to 2012.
"Do You Even Know?" is a very catchy pop tune and even though there is a whole lot of stuff going on in the track, it doesn't feel like it's too much. I could easily compare Rae Morris with Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Charlie XCX. Morris's vocals is definitely a highlight of her music.
