It’s the interplay between glistening pianos and rich, atmospheric textures that makes Refeeld and Sachiho’s “Blurred Glitter” such a gripping listening experience for me.
With their respective contributions to Japan’s beat scene, the two producers bring their sounds together on Along the Coast, their debut joint EP. “Blurred Glitter” comes as the first single, and this release is shimmering with an optimistic appeal thanks to the bright piano arrangements and the groovy drums keeping the momentum alive. The pair have sprinkled in a range of quirky yet dreamy synth embellishments, a sign that their personalities shine through the music and gives the track a distinctive character.
