Still

On "Still", Rhian exhibits why he is a virtuoso when it comes to the creation of suspense and anticipation.

For the opening moments of the track, we're greeted with a lengthy passage adorned with bells, deep pianos, and also what sounds like a clock rigorously ticking. As the time passes (literally), a subtle bass arrives accompanied by these airy pads... Until - almost out of the blue - the track crescendos into a blissful pinnacle with many elements becoming louder and just so much more pronounced, particularly the bass as it's the driving force behind this serene passage.
