As cluttered as chillhop might be, there are still beams of light in the genre. Producers that time and time again remind me why I absolutely love that sweet, sweet spot of head-bop and endless relaxation. One of those producers, the legendary RMB Justize, joined our label family, and I couldn't be more ecstatic. Today, we celebrate Ryan's 4-track EP, Morning, Eventually, which we're honoured to release on our label imprint. A hazy collection of jazz and hip-hop-soaked instrumentals inspired by early mornings, reflection, and the slow but steady growth (the healthy type).
My favourite beat is the opener "Side Quest", the jazzy keys have a special way to make you feel welcomed, and the futuristic synths add a splash of much-needed energy to start the day.
