I found one of robe's songs last year and immediately fell in love with his unique, lush sax melodies & curious production. You might know the Japanese saxophonist & producer from his remix of the legendary beatmaker grooveman Spot, and this week, I'm delighted he marked his debut on Stereofox Records.
"Nostalgia" is part of the upfront double single (together with "Bike Ride") from his upcoming sophomore EP Childhood Memories - dedicated to that warm feeling for the sweet, carefree past. The song features bright brass, cozy keys, and a wonderful drum groove that brings hope instead of melancholia - despite the title.
