Rohne's fourth single of 2021 "Circles" is here and similarly to every one before, it doesn't disappoint.
An eclectic palette of harp, chopped vocals, warm piano chords, pulsing synths, and sampled drum breaks, the intimate yet driving sound seems to act as a subtle departure from his debut work. However, it further cements his love of combining digital and organic elements in a stylish downtempo manner.
“I remember Circles being one of those rare occasions where you get so consumed by an initial idea that the entire track falls into place in a couple of days. As it came together it seemed to take on this meditative and hypnotic quality, as if the layers of the track were looping in circles.”
