Curious band name aside, Rubblebucket are a band I'm keen to hear more of. Quirky beats and an immediately identifiable female vocal give the New Yorkers some real gravitas. They're new track "Sound Of Erasing" is being released through Communion who, let's be honest, rarely get it wrong with the artists they back.

I'd be very surprised if artists like Marina and the Diamonds and Florence and the Machine weren't big influences (makes me think maybe they should be called Rubble and the Bucket?) but that's hardly bad company to be keeping now, is it?
