If you're an avid little fox, then you'll be no stranger to sivu as both myself and Ivo have written about him before. This time however he's teaming up with songstress Marika Hackman for single 'I Hold', which has conveniently dropped before their headline tour of the UK (kicking off in Brighton on December 10th).
The two singers are a strange mix in the way that you probably wouldn't deliberately put them together, but their voices are superbly matched. I hasten to call the single itself dark pop, although it does lie tentatively on the fringe. With it's spidery guitars, deep bass, sivu's dampened vocals and Marika's breathy and powerful voice combining to create what I'm sure will be a brilliant song in their live show. If you're in the UK then be sure to pick up tickets for tour, going through Brighton, London, Cambridge, Manchester and finishing in Bristol on the December 14th.
