It's been a while since I've heard a hip hop track with SO MUCH substance and with artists who bring something different to the table.

I loved that the instrumental was almost bare with subtle sounds going on here and there, and I say that because this allowed the lyrics of Sons of Yusuf and Jay Electronica to pierce through and stick. All three artists are able to get quite deep with the story they are presenting and simultaneously be entertaining with their sharp wit.

"The brothers talk about their contentious Los Angeles upbringing as Muslim teenagers while Jay mystically relates his ancestors' story of coming to America."
