Earlier today I was sitting on a bridge. The sun was going down when this soulful (and as it turned out Berlin-based) artist started playing. The music of Still Parade will not only throw you off the daily stress line into an abyss of ever-floating stillness, but will also evoke the deepest of emotions, hiding somewhere between the synapses of your body.
There's something about sunsets and their uniqueness. What you're seeing right now, in this very moment, from this angle, at this point of time - it's only for you and no one only. This quote by George McDonald popped up in my mind. It's somehow awe-ly true.
“How strange this fear of death is! We are never frightened at a sunset.”
This beautiful track is part of Nikolas' upcoming EP Fields which should be out by the end of the month. To say I was impressed by this song would be a simple understatement.
