This track doesn't just "happen" to feel like a story is unfolding as the seconds go by. Beneath those spacey pads and frantic arps lies the incredible story of how this track came to be.
"Total Bike Forever is an adventure from London to Tokyo by bicycle in search for the golden muse and a quest to make electronic music with the people we met along the way." And in this track, traditional musicians from Japan were recorded, as well as a choir from Nepal.
One of the aspects which caught my attention is the fact that Total Bike Forever's "Kyushu" beautifully blurs the lines of genre by virtue of the various sounds incorporated in here. The journey like progression also provides the track with a distinctive personal touch.
