With its upbeat drums and bright melodic progression... Yarni and Jonoa's latest track "Nova" feels like a celebration in motion.
In many ways, "Nova" is quite reminiscent of Bonobo's Black Sands LP as Nu Jazz is paired with a range of influences such as Electronica and World Music thanks to the array of ethnic instrumentation decorated throughout the track. In each section, from the rhythm to the melodic and to the bass we're acquainted with stellar musicianship whilst continuously introduced to surprises.
